North-West Community Pantry

Youth Led Community & Training Resource

The North-West Community Pantry was established by the DRC Youth Project to provide young people and their families with access to fresh and healthy food at an affordable price.

Our community pantry is stocked with produce from our good friends and partners Fareshare. Fareshare redistributes quality surplus food to community groups in the North-West of Glasgow.

This partnership enables us to provide members of the community with a wide selection of fresh fruit and veg, baked goods, tinned food and frozen products which would previously have gone to waste.

Each visit to the pantry costs £3, which guarantees each member a minimum of 10 items (equivalent to the value of around £15).

Our friendly team of staff and youth volunteers are ready to welcome you to our pantry and are more than happy to help you with your shopping.

Location

2344 Dumbarton Road, Yoker, G14 0JX.

We are part of The Scottish Pantry Network and have several initiatives in place which can help individuals and families who are most in need of support.
We also provide volunteering and training opportunities to young people in the North-West of Glasgow, with an aim to move into employment once gaining experience within the pantry.
